Back in the Saddle
Last night, we went on our usual family walk around the neighborhood. Jackson was riding his scooter and crashed-BIG TIME. He was wearing his helmet, and luckily had no broken bones or lost teeth. He was pretty miserable, though. I even wrote a note to his teacher explaining what happened. This picture was taken just after the crash.
We went on another walk tonight, and Brent talked Jackson into riding his scooter again. (I also needed some persuasion as I am a total helicopter mom and did NOT want another crash). There were no accidents, and I think it was good for Jackson to ride again sooner rather than later. Here's to getting "back in the saddle".

Oh Poor Jackson! (I did have to laugh at your "Helicopter Mom" comment. That is SO me. Just wait until they're teenagers. . .and you realize you don't GET to make all their decisions for them. . .it stinks. :)
Wow! I'm glad he seems to be doing better. That must have been some crash.
Oh my goodness! That was QUITE the crash! Poor kid. Glad he's doing better.
Ouch! I'm glad that he was able to hop back on. Good luck!
