Hello..911

Jackson and I were eating dinner the other night (Brent was on an airplane headed toward Michigan). Jackson took a big bit of pizza and got "the look". You know, the deer-in-the-headlights, oxygen saturation dropping by the minute, panic stricken look. Yup. Now, after having performed advanced cardiac life support to a blue man in an urgent care parking lot, nothing really surprises me. Still, it was my little boy. Once again, the Heimlich came through. You never really know when basic first aid will come in handy. I encourage all to learn CPR!

SO scary! Halle choked on a nickel once and I had to do the heimlich on her. Darn those kids, they scare the mommas to death!! Glad Jackson was okay. Good thing he has a smart mommy.

Hunter and I just got back from our infant CPR class, and while I am still a bit hesitant about our skills, I feel a lot better. Good thing you know what's going on! What a hero :)
