Halloween Fun
So this was a new little tradition. The kids' school has a parade of costumes. All the school children get into their costumes and walk around the school for the parents. You had to be fast to get a picture...they were moving right along. General Grievous and The Sweetest Cupcake ever thought this was fun (if not a little overwhelming).
Here is Ashton's class. They had a lot of fun! I love the small class size. There were 3 stations: 1) Pin the face on the pumpkin, 2) Make witches' brew and spooky trail mix, and 3) A Halloween hanging ornament. I think the favorite was the witches' brew and spooky trail mix. I had bowls set out with bones (pretzels), ghosts (mini marsh mellows), witches' hats (candy corn), and bugs (raisins). The kindergarteners filled up cute Halloween zip lock bags with their spooky trail mix. Making the witches' brew was fun as well...but there weren't many kids that actually wanted to try it (floating bugs, spiders, worms and eyeballs will do that).
Trick-or-Treating was a lot of fun. We had a great crew. These families are the best and it is soooo fun to have kids the same ages and genders.
Mike, The Sweetest Cupcake EVER, and General Grievous wish you a Happy Halloween!
