Oregon Coast

 We went to Portland/Lincoln City/Astoria for a fishing trip/family vacation. What a great trip! We were bummed that our flight got cancelled (lost 2 days-bummer), but once we got to Portland-it was HEAVEN. This was the backyard of the house we rented. The house was great...a wall full of windows, comfy couches, lots of space for everyone. We had a great trip!

 There was a family of deer, which we saw (but didn't get a photo of..DARN).

 The beach was COLD but the kids had so much fun. Aunt Coco really made us laugh. Because there are typically few shells on this beach, she bought sea shells and threw them on the beach for Ashton and Bryce to find. How funny is that?!

 

There was literally a mountain of sand we climbed in Ocean City. It was a beautiful view...but oh so cold! Ryan was insistent we climb to the top.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alan, Brent, Caden, Cole, Jackson, Brandon, Dawson and Paige all rented wet suits and went body surfing. They had fun while the little ones played in the sand.

...and SHARK WEEK was on....

And of course, there was FISHING!!! 

 Jackson got to drive the boat.

 

 

And then we hung out in Colleen's backyard...WOW!!!

 

It truly was a WONDERFUL vacation. Long live summer beach vacations.
