Oregon Trails

At the Fish Farm!!!
Multnomah Falls!
Jackson and the Jacobson kids. He had a blast. This is on the Multnomah Falls trail.

Mt. Saint Helens had a visitor's center with a helicopter simulator. Jackson loved it.
We finally arrived in Reno. After quickly unpacking, we headed off to Oregon to visit the Jacobson clan and Aunt Collette. We had so much fun! First stop, Mt. Saint Helens. It was cold!! We loved the view and the trees. Next, Aunt Collette played tour guide through "The Gorge". We hiked Bridal Veil Falls, Multnomah Falls, and stopped at the Fish Farm and Dam. We had a great trip...the kind where you're so happy to be together, eat way toooo much, and RELAX! The best part was that the kids were so helpful with Jackson, I didn't have to worry a bit! They even babysat...THANKS GUYS!

VROOOOOOOM

Off to Rigby, Idaho! Papa had a big surprise...a new little "vroom, vroom" for the grandkids to ride. At first, Jackson was scared, but by the time we left, we started telling him that the "vroom, vroom" had to sleep so he would get off!!

Country Boy

Get ready, folks! It's the Caribou County Fair! We had so much fun. Jackson got to see his fill of cows, horses, rabbits, chickens, you name it. Grace, Idaho also has a quaint parade (where they still throw candy)! Jackson was hilarious. He would pick up two pieces, realize there was more, and proceed to drop his candy to pick up others. We had a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa.

The Last Beach Trip

Our last days in Florida...aptly spent at the Beach! We got a room with a view, and played in the sand all day. Next stop...Idaho...then...Reno here we come!

The Horse Retirement Farm

There is a "horse retirement farm" in Alachua, Florida we went to this summer. It was on our list of things to do before leaving Florida. We thought Jackson would love it, but he was really scared of the horses, especially when one bit the end of a carrot he was holding. It was absolutely beautiful, and we're glad we got to check it off!
