Let's Ride!

Last night, we took the kids to the park to ride bikes. This meant that Ashton was riding Jackson's old tricycle...and we realized how much she had outgrown it. We decided that she really needed a bike sooner rather than later. Today, we headed to the store and she now has the most sparkly purple bike known to man (And she's LOVING it!). It was all too clear that we waited WAAAAAY to long. She just hopped on and started riding.
Here's to a summer full of riding bikes!

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

We had to stop in at the grand opening of Roy Foster's Automotive!! Luckily, we haven't had too many vehicle problems, but when we do, Roy and his crew always take great care of us. The grand opening of the new location was today, and it was AMAZING. They had yummy food and more importantly, A REAL RACE CAR!!! The kids LOVED seeing the race car.

Additionally, the semi that hauls the race car was there, too. The kids really liked that (along with the hats Roy gave them-THANKS!)
They got to climb up into the semi and see where the cars are loaded and stored. It was a really fun day.

New Addition

Brent and I are ecstatic to share that WE ARE HAVING A BOY!! We are so excited and relieved that the ultrasound today showed the baby to be developing normally and that the neonatologist confirmed that everything looks okay. I had a miscarriage in November, and it was extremely difficult. For that reason, we have been very hesitant to discuss the pregnancy. We told Ashton and Jackson tonight, and they are THRILLED. Both of them jumped up and down screaming "We're having a baby!!" and then had to rush over and hug my belly (um, yes...our children are blissfully oblivious...I'm nearly 20 weeks and they had NO idea). Our official due date is November 1. I was confident it was a girl because I've been REALLY sick...so we were pretty shocked. We are so excited!
