Christmas Eve

One of the partners at the firm invited us to their home for Christmas Eve. What a delightful night! Jackson and Ashton were incredibly surprised when Santa stopped by for a visit. We had a wonderful evening. Thanks, Bob and Sallie!
Happy Christmas Eve!
Just before the party....getting ready for the BIG night.
Here he is!!! Santa stopped by for a visit. The kids were all so excited.
Ashton was a little nervous, but she knew who Santa was...she said "ho, ho, ho" as soon as he walked in the door.
Santa handed out presents to every child. He knew all their names and exactly what they wanted for Christmas.
Ashton had a lot of fun opening her present.
She is LOVING the music box.
Jackson was the last child called. He was so excited, he could hardly stand it. When Santa called his name, he darted around the room to Santa and gave him a big hug.
Santa gave Jackson a Lightning McQueen computer! The kids had to check it out immediately.
So excited!
We also sang Christmas songs and did "the reindeer dance". (Jackson was too excited to participate).
This is hilarious. After the presents, Ashton got a piece of toule ribbon stuck on her shoe.
Santa couldn't stay very long...after all, it was Christmas Eve!
Sweet kiddos.

Christmas Pears

Brent has a client who sent us pears for Christmas (she is so thoughtful-she sent them last year and the kids LOVED them).
They were so excited. YUMMY!
Thank you!!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Jackson's school had their annual holiday program on Friday. Last year, he didn't sing a note. I don't think he moved during the entire program...he just sat. What a difference a year makes! He did such a great job this year. He knew all the hand gestures for each song. It was priceless!
Have a Merry Christmas!
Getting ready for the program to begin.
Adorable!

Let it Snow!

This was the view from our door this morning. It started snowing last night and didn't stop!
The kids were so excited to go play.
Cowabunga, mom!
Ummm...not so sure!
OOOH! Snow!

Ready for Christmas

As soon as we got home from Thanksgiving, Jackson HAD to put up the tree. The kids were a BIG help to daddy.
So sweet!
The finished product.
UGH! I forgot about this stage...when all the ornaments will eventually migrate to the top of the tree to keep them safe. The first night was a little rough, but she's actually been great at not touching the tree.

Thanksgiving in Idaho

The whole family was home for Thanksgiving. We had sooo much fun (but didn't get ANY sleep). Ashton went on the tractor with Papa alone for the first time. The kiddos love riding the tractor with Papa.
Hi mom!
We did some Thanksgiving crafts, too.
Concentrating REALLY hard.
Turkey time!
Cousins are SOOO much fun!
