Trunk or Treat

Whew. I'm partied out. The kids had a school party, a playgroup party and tonight we had Trunk or Treat at the church. BRRRRR! It was cold. Here's the crew..
Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, the spookiest skeleton ever, and the sweetest angel on Earth!
This is how the night went....run to the cars as fast as possible, and then huddle in the truck to keep warm. Our good friends, Jason and Mckenna came with us. I hope our kids aren't sick tomorrow. Goodness knows the quantity of candy they consumed without parental supervison.
...Like I said.....
We wish you all a Happy Halloween!!

Carving Pumpkins

OOOOOOOHHHHHH!
It's pumpkin carving time.
Here are the finished products....
Have a Happy Halloween!

Jackson and Ashton were so excited to carve pumpkins this year...until they had to scoop out the inside of the pumpkins. Jackson wanted a "really spooky pumpkin" this year. We think it turned out super spooky.
Helping Dad carve.
Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

We LOVE the Pumpkin Patch! We go every year, and always have a blast. Our favorite things are seeing the animals, going on the hayride and of course, the bounce house.
At the entrance....
Looking at the really big pumpkins.
There is an old tractor there, and the kids LOVE to sit on it. The only problem, they want a tractor ride with Papa now. Dad, warm up the tractor!
Getting SOOO big.
Jackson playing the games...
...and taking his turn on the tractor.
THE BOUNCE HOUSE! Yippeeee!
See you next year!

Tahoe Pictures

Our pictures came back!!
Pictures with kids is such a process. I've always wanted "beach" pictures and Tahoe is gorgeous this time of year.

My sweet kids!
Ashton was FREEZING. The sun was starting to set, but this turned out soooo cute!
Handsome Jackson. He was such a great kid for this shoot.
SMILE!

SLC Trip

Brent had a conference in Salt Lake the other weekend, so we made a quick trip out there. Apart from Ashton getting carsick (cleaning up in the restroom of the Elko gas station is a blog itself), we had a great time. We swam, played with cousins and saw Nana and Papa. I had been wanting to take the kids to The Museum of Ancient History at Thanksgiving Point (hereafter referred to as "The Dinosaur Museum") for quite awhile, and we finally made it. We had a great time, it just went too quickly. To all our friends and family we didn't see...we'll catch you next time!

My sister, Mimi, met us at the museum with her kiddos. It was so great to see cousins.
The museum did not disappoint!
Jackson was in heaven and I have to admit that after reading all those dinosaur books, I was excited to see some "fossils". Who knew Allosaurus was so small?
Jackson and Maddie.
They had several interactive dinosaur exhibits. Jackson was in HEAVEN. He could have spent several hours there just playing with all the exhibits...but we were run out by all the field trips. Seriously, did every school in Happy Valley decide to have a field trip that day?
Ashton had fun, too.
More exhibits.
This was hilarious. They were supposed to be finding fossils in the sand. It turned into a dance beach party.
Jamming away.
A final picture at the museum.
The next day, we went to the zoo. We love the train there!
Kolton and Jackson.
Sweet girls...Ashton and Maddie.
We also had to ride the Carousel. (I still get dizzy and sick thinking about it!)
It was so much fun. There was a new baby elephant, giraffes, monkeys, lizards, snakes, etc. We had a blast!
FUN, FUN, FUN!!
