We took a road trip to see family over the weekend. There were several birthdays as well as a baby blessing (unfortunately, we had to miss the blessing due to a yucky stomach flu!). It's been a little more difficult to travel with Jackson, since he now won't sleep in a crib (cribs are for babies) doesn't fit in the pack-n-play, and won't stay in a sleeping bag. I felt badly for the people in the hotel room next to us in Wendover. I'm sure they appreciated the 3:00 a.m. wake up call of Jackson saying "Go dis way" and pounding on the hotel room door to get out. Sorry....
The trip underscored how crazy traveling with a toddler is. However, it was GREAT to see family!

Singing "Happy Birthday" to Uncle Alan.

One of the best things about visiting cousins is playing with the great toys they have. Check out this amazing swing/fort/slide/sandbox. Alan, you are sooo hired when we decide to build ours.

Jackson LOVED riding around with the cousins. Hold on tight!!

We went to Hogle Zoo. This is at the playground. It reminded us of our Florida days.

Jackson and Daddy at the zoo.

Watching the giraffes.
