Fall Fun
I do love Fall!!
We went to the pumpkin patch and the kids had a blast. The favorites: the bounce house, animals and hayride.
The finished pumpkins...Mckenna's "bat ears" turned out GREAT!
This is how the carving ended...the kids decided they'd had enough and headed down to the playroom while the dads were left to finish the job!
Ryan and I supervised.
I'm finally coming out of the haze. Ryan is here and doing GREAT! I think God knew I needed a sweet, well-tempered baby with everything else going on in life. He is just perfect. My water broke last Monday morning and we took the kids to school and headed over to the hospital. I WAS NOT excited. Ryan was 3 weeks early, and I was hoping that he would actually arrive later than his due date (I think I'm the only pregnant woman who is not in a hurry to get the baby here). My sister-in-law was able to catch a flight from Portland and she arrived mid-day to help with Jackson and Ashton (Thanks, Colleen!! We sooo appreciate you!). I wasn't really progressing, but some pitocin, an epidural and 8 hours later....there he was! Despite his early entry, he's doing FABULOUSLY well and didn't have any problems breathing or eating. We are adjusting to life as a party of 5!
Ashton and Jackson are in heaven. They LOVE him. They take turns holding him and are so excited. It doesn't hurt that baby Ryan brought them gifts when they came and visited in the hospital! :)

and Dad.
Jackson in the dental chair. I think he really wanted it to be over. He was still as could be and did not move. He hates the fluoride treatment, but they used something different this time and it wasn't as bad.
Sweet Ashton. She's too cute. She actually didn't mind the fluoride treatment this time.
