The FIRST Talk

So proud of this beautiful little girl. She gave her FIRST talk today. It was on missionary work and how Ammon was a great missionary because he was a great friend. She challenged the Primary to be great missionaries by being great friends. I couldn't understand why she was so nervous this morning before church. She said, "Mom, I think I am going to be really nervous in front of all those people". I assured her that they were all her friends. She was not convinced. I did not totally understand her concern until we sat down for Sacrament meeting and she said, "Well, mom. I love you but I have to go sit up there now.". She thought she was giving her talk in Sacrament meeting! WOW. What courage. She is so brave, kind, loving and amazing. I am proud of you, Ashton!

Ryan is TWO!!!

Oh my goodness! The little man is TWO!!! Ryan had a wonderful birthday party. He LOVED the birthday singing and the candles. Here is what our little guy is up to:
*His vocabulary is BOOMING! He is becoming quite a chatterbox.
*He HATES going to the doctor. HATES IT. He screams from the moment we get into the room until the doctor leaves the room.
*He thinks he is a big kid, and wants to play and do whatever the big kids are playing and doing.
*He NEEDS his naps. REALLY.
*He likes riding in the bike trailer to school, puppies, lemonade, trucks, and cold cereal.
*He is a TEASE.
*He loves wrestling his Dad, big brother and big sister. He often gets a running start and then leaps on them.
*When you ask him his name, he replies, "Ry Ry".
Happy Birthday, Ry! We love you.
 C-U-T-E!
 What a trio!
Daddy helped him open his gifts.
According to Ashton, the cupcakes were "YUMMY"! She is a good big sister to Ry. He misses her a lot when she goes to kindergarten.

Teeth for the Tooth Fairy

Poor Jackson. He developed a huge blood blister on his upper gum. Our friend (bless his heart) is an oral surgeon, and was able to squeeze us in. Jackson's teeth were being compressed by the new teeth coming in. So, to prevent further blisters (and possible infection), the old baby teeth were pulled. Jackson says his mouth feels "a million times better"...and who knew that the Tooth Fairy gives you more money if you have teeth pulled by a professional!
