Big Enough

A momentous day! Ashton is tall enough to ride the ferris wheel at Scheels. Of course, with her lack of hair they actually pulled out the measuring stick...but she was tall enough (I told the operator he should give us an inch since she didn't have hair!). She was so excited, and both her and Jackson only wanted to ride with Daddy. They had so much fun!!!

Another Santa Visit

We were doing some last minute shopping on December 24th. When we came out of the parking lot at the mall, we saw Santa standing on the corner by the bank waving. The kids were insistant that we say hi, so we pulled up and he said "Ho, Ho Ho. I am visiting at the bank. You should stop by". So, we visited Santa at the bank. He gave the kids a stuffed animal and a piggy bank with a dollar in it "To save for their college educations". I wish this photo had turned out better, but I took it with my phone! The kids were so excited that Santa gave them a piggy bank!

Let It Snow!

The kids have been anxious to use their new snowboots and snowgear. Luckily, Mother Nature obliged and we had some snow. They played outside all afternoon.
Playing in the snow!
They couldn't get enough!
And then Jackson threw a snowball at me!!! Where did he learn that???

Christmas Day

Christmas was so fun! We were at home this year. Grandma and Grandpa came and spent the holiday with us. Brent and I heard Santa and when we came out, this is what we saw:

Christmas morning...the kids were waiting to see what Santa brought them.
They were so excited that Santa remembered everything on their lists!
We had such a great time. The kids jumped from one toy to the next. It was adorable.
Checking out the goods.
And of course, the babies needed to be fed immediately.
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday. All the best for 2011!

Christmas Eve

We were invited to Bob and Sallie's again this year for Christmas Eve. I can sum the evening in one word: MAGICAL! Our children are at such a fun age. They were so excited to see Santa.
Jackson and Santa.
Ashton and Santa.
Jackson receiving his present from Santa. He had been asking for "a giant Buzz Lightyear" and was not disappointed.
Ashton was also thrilled to see Santa and received a baby doll and stroller, which she adores.
Merry Christmas!!
The kids tore into their toys and began playing immediately. It was so fun to see them enjoying their gifts.

Christmas Program

The school always has a great Christmas Program. We love seeing the children sing.
Here is Jackson walking into the Program.
Starting the program...
Getting ready to sing.
We loved it! They sang so many cute songs..."Up on the Housetop", "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Feliz Navidad", "Santa Claus is Coming To Town". The school did a great job (as always). Merry Christmas!
